The Knights Templar began in Jerusalem in the early twelfth century as a military and monastic order charged with the defence of pilgrims. Their Rule was shaped at Troyes. Through papal privileges they built houses, farms, ports and treasuries across the Latin West and the eastern Mediterranean. People, documents and money could move along that network from one house to another.
These maps follow attested roads and dated campaigns. They do not claim that every line is the path of a physical Grail. Each chart is a separate history: crusade, royal road, later eastern travel, the last Master, and the literary geography of the Holy Grail. Open one map at a time. Compare what each route actually records.
